Scott Nguyen’s passion for real estate reflects his aptitudes and life experiences as a consultant, owner of a mortgage brokerage, and Realtor® who comes from a family that instilled his belief in real estate as a path to wealth.
That belief was fostered by his parents, first-generation Americans who fled Vietnam during the war. “They came here with very little, worked hard, and invested in properties,” Scott says. “Growing up, I didn’t think much about it, but now I know they were able to build wealth and achieve the American dream by investing in real estate.” Following his parents’ example, he invested in real estate, building a portfolio as well as the skills that led to establishing a mortgage brokerage while accruing a thorough knowledge of the real estate process.
Scott knows he can do the same for his clients. Most of them start as first-time buyers, then become sellers and investors who rely on his guidance and trust him to represent their best interests. “I’m able to think on the spot and put myself in the hot seat to negotiate and fight for them,” he says. “I push the envelope for my clients.”
Scott gives back to his community through weekly volunteer work at a local food bank as well as with a nonprofit tax preparation program for low-income residents. On his own time, he’s an avid scuba diver who is fascinated by the ocean.
